We are off in two days. We will drive across to Paris and stay overnight and then drive down to Lyon. We will stay a few days at my Mum’s and then go to the East. That’s where my Mum comes from. I have not been back there for years. When i was a child we used to go every Summer. It will be lovely to go back, I am really looking forward to it.
I will go No Mail on my groups otherwise I will be totally flooded when I get back, some of the groups are really high-volume!

School is out

[fr]

Last day today. A lot of people were leaving and I was one of them. I have been at the school 15 years, it is a very long time. My best leaving present? It was given by L. It was a very pretty box filled to the brim with things I adore: crisps, bounty chocolates in all sizes, chewing gum and of course skittles! L, if you read this, I want you to know how much I appreciate this. It is such a caring and lovely gesture. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I will miss you and H because both of you were always there, always happy to listen and you were both easy to talk to.
Ian bought me an enormous bouquet of flowers and phoned to ask if I wanted to go out for a meal. We will go tomorrow like we always do.
