We have been back for a few days but I have not had time to come and update in here. We had a great holiday. We drove down to Lyon to pick up my Mum then went East to stay with my cousin and his family who live in Les Vosges, near Epinal. We had time to pop into Alsace to eat a lovely choucroute and buy some wines!
We then went back to Lyon where we stayed until the end of our holiday. The weather was not great but it isn’t that important. When I go to France I go to spend time with my family as I don’t see them that often. We had not been to Lyon for years so we did spend time visiting the town.
Well as is to be expected when holidaying in france, we ate very well, a lot! I really stuffed myself with charcuterie that I miss so much and I brought back many saucissons to see me through until Ian goes back on business!
