Voilà, je viens juste de finir de mettre PSP 4 ALL sur WP. Deux installations et pas mal de problèmes. Mais tout fonctionne alors pour le moment je n'y touche plus. Et je viens de faire un petit quiz et je suis une idéaliste? Un petit peu mais de moins en moins avec l'âge!

I have spent the last four days putting my tutorial site at http://psp4all.com on WP. It’s been a lot of work, right from the start. First I could not install because it said I wasn’t allowed any more MYSQL’s when in fact I am on unlimited! Then I had problems with some of the plugins, you know you spend hours trying to find out where you went wrong and then suddenly it hits you. So frustrating! Then hassle with the second WP since you can’t install in a repertory which already exists. And on this installation, I cannot get the Links_enhanced plugin to work. I don’t know why..it works here, it works on the other PSP 4 ALL WP but doesn’t in the members’ area. So I haven’t used it! I don’t want to spend anymore time on it! I am just pleased it’s more or less done!

New computer is set up!

Voilà il est installé! Et j'ai mis à peu près la moitié de mes programmes! Reste encore beaucoup de boulot que je ferai au fur et à mesure!

Well all the hardware because my own stuff, that’s going to take me a very long time! I have got everything saved on my external drive and I have transferred all the files but each program has too be installed individually and that’s really boring so now I have stopped and will only install as and when I need the programs. Which means I can spend time doing other things!

New computer!

Mon nouvel ordi est arrivé. Il est ici: http://www.matbe.com/actualites/14119/shuttle-sk22g2/. On y a mis un bon processeur super rapide, mémoire: 2x1Go et bonne carte graphique etc.. Mon fils viendra l'installer ce weekend! Il est tout petit!

It’s arrived! And now I just have to wait for my son to come this weekend and set it all up. I have to do a fresh save of my second drive onto my outside drive with all my programs and graphics. I always keep a copy of everything I donwload so it should be easy to reinstall the programs, will take some time though! For all the graphics folders, it will be just moving them across from the outside drive onto the new one!

It’s a tiny little tower but it’s going to be really efficient, hardly any noise and won’t heat up and we are making it super fast too!
Have a look here: Shuttle. It’s tiny, will have a dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a good graphics card. Exciting!
