That’s it. The deed is done. I have installed Vista Ultimate 64-bits and this despite being a bit wary about installing 64-bits rather than 32-bits! You get both disks in the Ultimate pack. The only problem I had was not being able to install from the DVD itself so I had to go in the BIOS settings. And then when the disk started, I had no choice but to do a clean install as the other option was greyed out and if I tried to choose it, it said I would have to boot from the DVD. And that did not work!
The rest of the install went smoothly and it kept my computer partitioned. Windows installed all the required drivers and everything is working OK. I have had to re-install IM, took 2 goes but it is working fine. PSP 7 also! And Roboform! So far I have not found a program not working. So good news really!
It is snowing since yesterday here in Shropshire. I like snow but not driving in it so I won’t go out today. Here’s some pictures of our garden. It is really beautiful. Ans as I write is is snowing so heavily still!

Was brave and updated. I was installing somebody’s WP today and noticed that Iimage Browser was now compatible so decided to upgrade. And a big Thank you Pixie for the updated “enhanced links” plugin!
